Neil E. McNally is an experienced trial lawyer and has been a dedicated member of the Roanoke Valley community for more than 30 years. He has a proven record of success and has been recognized by readers of The Roanoker magazine as one of the best attorneys in the region.
Neil is a graduate of George Mason University’s Atonin Scalia School of Law and the University of Maryland, College Park. He is a member of the Virginia State Bar and admitted to practice in all Courts of Virginia, the United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
When he’s not practicing law, Neil enjoys spending time with his family and exploring Roanoke’s scenic parkways.

Key, Tatel & McNally was founded as a full-service law firm in 1978 by Thomas N. Key and Barry M. Tatel. Neil McNally joined the firm in 1982, becoming a full partner in 1984 and taking over Key, Tatel & McNally as a solo practice upon Mr. Key and Mr. Tatel’s retirement. In nearly four decades of serving the Roanoke metropolitan area, Key, Tatel & McNally has maintained a reputation for excellence in legal practice.
